Coal Ash Professional Training Course (EERC)

Background:
This well-established course is hosted by the longest-running coal ash research program in the world (University of North Dakota Energy & Environment Research Center EERC). Course instructors include established ash managers and marketers, industry consultants, members of the academic and research community, and government representatives. Kim Vories from OSM MCR will be a speaker at this event.
Topics Covered:
Topics include: (1) how CCBs are viewed from a coal company, electric generating company, marketer, and regulatory perspective; (2) implications of environmental initiatives and emerging specifications on coal ash; (3) updates on the industry's latest Hot Topics including IGCC by-products and FGD materials; (4) tricks of the trade from those who successfully utilize coal ash; and (5) options for recovering disposed coal ash and disposal site development.
Target Audience:
Anyone working it the coal ash utilization field. Participants attending the complete Coal Ash Professionals Training Course are eligible to earn 2.0 continuing education units (CEUs). Professional Engineers will earn 15 professional development hours (PDHs).
