OVERVIEW

Background: This conference provides mineral resources professionals with an opportunity to discuss current issues, new research and technologies related to mineral resource extraction throughout the Ohio Valley. The focus of the conference will be on recent legislation and research related to energy sources, mineral extraction, and restoration techniques.

The conference is viewed as a valuable resource for state and federal reclamation and environmental protection specialists, regulatory agency personnel, university researchers, mineral extractions and reclamation professionals; policy decision-makers, and watershed restoration groups.
