Description
The Interstate Mining Compact Commission (IMCC), a multi-state governmental agency representing the natural resource and environmental protection interests of its 24 member states, holds a mid-year meeting in the fall of each year to discuss issues and concerns of the member states and to hear from various speakers.

Topics Covered
Several IMCC Standing Committees will meet to discuss a variety of topics including abandoned mine lands, status of OSM's budget and state Title IV and V grants, significant OSM rulemakings, benchmarking initiatives, as well as pending studies and other state/federal initiatives in the mining arena.
