Description
The Interstate Mining Compact Commission (IMCC), a multistate governmental agency representing the natural resource and environmental protection interests of its 22 member states, holds an annual meeting in the spring of each year to discuss issues and concerns of the member states, to hear from various speakers, and to present its national reclamation and minerals education awards.

Topics Covered
Several IMCC Standing Committees will meet to discuss a variety of topics including abandoned mine lands, status of OSM's budget and state Title IV and V grants, significant OSM rulemakings, as well as pending studies and other state/federal initiatives in the mining arena.
