Alabama Technology Transfer Workshop

Description
The MCR conducted two one-day workshops for the Alabama Title IV and Title V programs in Jasper and Birmingham, Alabama. The program will consist of 14 presentations by MCR staff on multiple aspects of technology development and transfer, technical assistance, and training that are available from OSM. These elements are designed to help personnel enhance their skills to meet their performance potential. The interactive program is also intended to improve communication between MCR and the Alabama technical staff.

Topics Covered
The workshop provided presentations by MCR staff on multiple aspects of technology development and transfer, technical assistance, and training that are available from OSM including TIPS, NTTP, GIS/Geospatial, Mobile Computing, Hydrology, Geology, and Applied Science.

Target Audience
Technical program staff of both Title IV and V in Alabama.

Results
23 staff members attended the workshop. The staff requested technical follow-up of 11 issues.
