In OSM Headquarters in Washington, DC, the Division of Regulatory Support is responsible for coordination of OSM TT activities, and is an integral part of the National Technology Transfer Team (NTTT).  The Division serves as a national point-of-contact for OSM’s regulatory program and addresses and disseminates issues and guidance of a technical nature.  As such, the Division is responsible for OSM’s technical program, including the transfer of such technology to others within and outside of OSM; policy and programs related to Title V of the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act (SMCRA), including state program oversight; and, OSM rulemaking activities, legislative reviews, and the coordination of special technical initiatives.  The Division works with the National Technical Training Program Division and the Division of Reclamation Support within the Program Support Directorate to manage a variety of other TT activities, and works with the Regional TT programs to coordinate national TT programs and projects.  The Division maintains the NTTT Events Calendar.
